Hello all. I am new here and also very new to PWC! (like 6 days new :cheers: ) Like the title says I have a 99 gsx limited w/the 947 that will idle great and run great on the hose, but as soon as you put it in the water and try anything above idle really it boggs down bad. I have read all the how to's which are fantastic. I am trying to get this thing going by this weekend. I am going off what the previous owner says as I have yet to have it in the water. I pulled the carbs the other night and yesterday replaced all the grey line. I also fixed my fuel gauge while I was in there. Since I am waiting on my carb kits to come in I figured I would clean the reed valves. The rear cyl ( I know there is a name for it lol) one of the reed pedals on the lower right was completly broken off and wedged behind the one next to it! think I found the running issue. My only queston is should I go ahead and rebuild the carbs since I have them off or sohuld I send them back and get my 160 bucks back? The craft only has 116 hrs on it. Thanks a lot.
