Book says the output should go between 5.5v & 8.5v... mine is only going between 7.5v & 8.5v... and of course the speedo stays at zero. I've tested both at the first connector in the rear & at the last connector where the signal feeds the gauge. So, I'm pretty sure that signal is reaching it... My question, is that enough of a voltage fluctuation to trigger a working gauge? I'd hate to buy a used gauge (new not avail of course), only to find that it's the sending unit not putting out enough of a voltage change...
