Hi Everyone, I got question any info would be great, I finally got to ride the pair of 98 xp limited i bought during the winter. My question is I noticed that they had alittle more water in them than I thought would be in there when i pulled the drain plugs out, I know for a fact the bilging system is working cause I tested them so with that said, Is this common that these models take on alittle more water than other? Any info would be great thanks and be safe and ride hard

If they been sitting, the cover may have leaked if seat was left off as is one of the "winterizing" steps so compartment can breath, preventing interior mildew. The
exhaust manifold may have a leak, common to internally corrode at the "buttons"
of the tuned pipe. drive thru-hull may leak or VTS boot. open rear electric box and
check no moisture in the electricals. Bill

Check all the hoses, it may be pumping water in from the cooling system...
I've had a drain plug seal on my GTX go bad, and it takes on water just floating... The GTI had a bad gasket and it too took on water just floating, it was under warranty and I now do not recall rhat caused it to leak...
