I just bought the exact same jet ski and after taking it out 3 times, I fouled out all the spark plugs. I took it back to the guy I bought it from who fixes them and he changed out something quick and easy. Goodluck!

I have a 2002 GTX 4 Tec and I am having a similar problem. I seem to be changeing plugs every 20-30 hours. I noticed seadoo has a special compartment under the seat to hold 3 fresh plugs, should it be assumed that frequent plug replacement is expected then? ANyone else have this problem? It is a 4 stroke, fuel injected. ANy help appreciated.

1998 seadoo gtx limited 951cc It keeps fouling plugs about every hour or so, Any ideas?

Thanks

what oil, and what kind of plugs? Do you have to idle for long periods of time to get out of a "No wake" zone?

Florida82: On a 4-tech... no, you should not be fouling plugs, and please don't hijack threads. if you have an issue, make a new post.
