Just bought a 98 Challenger 1800. Took it out with mechanic and it ran like a champ. Had it up in the Muskokas for 20 minutes then died. Battery good, gas good no spark. Changed coils and started up no problem. Next day tried taking it out for a boot both motors again wouldn't start. Both motors crank over just won't start.

Even tried starting with another MPEM and still no go..................

Could coils have gone again and if so what could be causing it?

Any suggestions?

Unscrew the boots and see if the wire ends are burned. Battery must be fully charged, if its down, you won't get spark.

Sorry newbie at all of this can you send a pic of boots or describe in a little more detail. Appreciated.

Unplug the blk/red wire connector coming off the MPEM and crank it over. If it has spark its the MPEM.
