98 GTX Ltd No Fuel Issue

Just got my Seas out of storage (Averaged 30 below up here:ack: all winter) The 97 GTS started and ran great but my 98 GTX Ltd. started and went to 6000 RPM. Hit the kill, nothing, pulled the key, nothing and then hit the throttle and it died. tried to start it again but no luck. Left it for a few hours and tried again. It started right away, again to 6000 RPM then died it died on it's own.
This week I tried again and would not start. Pulled the plugs (They were dry) and checked compression and spark - All good there. Cleaned the plugs real good and put them back in. Tried to start for quite a few revolutions, nothing. Pulled the plugs and they were bone dry. Put fuel last weekend so had 3/4 of a tank, so took the filter out , bowl was full and filter was spotless. I then took the in feed line off the front carb and it hissed a bit and a couple drops of fuel came out of the line. After pissing around a bit I thought I would blow in the line and the fuel tank expanded and when I released fuel came pouring out of the line. I thought I would blow in the line again and quickly put it on the carb. Tried to start it and fired right up ran about 30 seconds and quit. No fuel in the line again. Took the line off again and blew real hard so the tank would expand a bit more and quickly put the line on again. Started it again and ran great (3000 RPM) for just about a minute and died - Yep no fuel in the line again.
Curious if anyone else has encountered this type of problem or if someone would know what my issue may be on this?

I had changed the fuel lines, clean the carbs inside and out, replaced the fuel baffle two years ago. Cleaned the raves again last year. The both seas ran great all last year.
I had taken all steps to correctly winterize the seas (Fogged, antifreeze, Jet Pump, grease ...)the whole bit.
Any help would be greatly apprciated.
Thanks Darrell

Try bypassing the fuel selector...

Or, maybe, lol, its been TOO LONG and you forgot to turn it to RES or ON.. (hey, LOL) settle down..

EDIT. Dont forget to check the fuel pump in the MAG carb, AND THE PULSE line from the crank. Could be cracked, pump could be shot. Worse case crank seals are shot and its not creating a pulse anymore.

Personally......

I would take it to the water. Sometimes, when you get a runaway issue, the engine needs a load on it to get things straightened out... or to revel the real problem.

To put a bright spin on it... there may be nothing wrong once you get a little fuel passed threw the carbs, and some heat in the engine. The load on the impeller will keep it from running away.

I guess I should add one thing... make sure the throttle is closing on the carbs. (probably is)

Not a problem 6KJR, open for all recommendations. Checked the bypass valve even to turn it off and blow in the line and would not let me blow into it. Turned it to on while blowing and the tank expanded once it reached the on posistion. When you are indicating PULSE line, do you mean a vaccumn line? The line looks good from what I can see with the Air Box removed and put a Vaccumn guage on the front carb and nothing. Not to sure if I should have a sign of vaccumn while cranking the engine over but there is none right now.
I checked both Choke and Throttle cable and rod and every thing is moving evenly. I will put it in the water next week and give it a try, only issue it will not start now with out priming it through the fuel hose trick.

OH NO - Just read a previous post and it was indicating not to turn the water hose on before starting the Sea! I am wondering if there is how my fuel issue has come tolife. The Sea ran fantastic last year before I put it away and when I went to get them ready this spring I had them in the back drive way and fiqured instead of pulling up them to the front drive way I would just run a hose out back. Hooked the hose to the Sea went up to house about 40 feet away turned the valve on and walked back to start the Sea.
What happens to the engine when you do this?? What damage may I have done. Is there a quick remedy for this bonehead move???
I farted around with it today and can get it started but will only run for 5 to 10 seconds then quits but after starting it about 10 times I think I may of really screwed something up if there is water in the motor.
