Hello, Last year I bought a 98 GTX LTD and blew it up tword the end of the season. It was old and had been sitting for a while. This year I put a new top end, carb rebuild, jetpump, impeller, wear ring, converted to premix and a good cleaning of tanks and connections.

since I doubt you want the long drawn out story of my first test ride here are the important questions.

1: The line coming from the right rear of the ski, does that connect to the bottom of the right side of the motor? Its a clear line that when you blow into it you can hear it bubbling near the jet pump.

2: when converting to premix on the 951 silver motor are you supposed to keep an oil line hooked up the motor somewhere for the crank?

3: there is a T on the top of the carbs that lightly spit gas out when running, is this supposed to be capped off or is there a line missing.

4: We originaly had the T on top the Carbs and the nozzle on the bottom right of the motor connected (why I dont know) and when I would turn the ski off I could hear liquid draining into liquid. Where would that of been going?

I hope that I explained everything correctly and I apologize for my ignorance. This was my first rebuild and my buddy who helped me has Kawasaki's. These seadoo's are a real PITA to work on and seem to work a little different then the Kwasaki's. If you have read this much thank you.

1) Need a picture.

2) Nope. It's a reed valve engine.

3) Picture needed

4) Once I see the picture, I may be able to enplane.

Why was my original post deleted? I added photo's this morning and now I wake up to check for new responses and it is gone. What gives?

I think it was just a glitch to the system. None of the admins can pull the original post, and make a response the first post. Strange.
