Hi i'm a noob to this site and i was wondering if someone could maybe help me out? I took my sea-doo out today and I had to boost it to get it going,after i boosted it,it ran for a few minutes then stalled.I tried boosting it again to no avail.So i pulled it out took it out to tinker with it and now it won't start boosting it either.What it does is when I turn it over it just makes a banging noise like the starter isn't fully engaging or disengaging.What do you guys think? Any help would be greatly appreciated since I am on holidays 16 hours from home .Thanks Gutz

I'm assuming by 'boosting' you mean you are jump starting it? When it ran for a few minutes, did it run healthy through the entire RPM range, or did it just idle irregularly and stall out?
You need to test the batteries first, and charge them up just to rule that out. Make sure there isn't anything in the jet pump.
If those check out, could be a worn starter, or ignition problems.
