Hey again, I have a buddy that has a 97 XP that he bought and took out one time. It started good and rode for the day but now it doesn't fire up. You put the key on and it beeps and turns over good but doesn't want to fire? He took it to a mechanic and he said the computer needs to be replaced, but that the computer is discontinued? The mech said it has spark and fuel, but would a computer going bad make it not have enough spark? All fuses are good, where should I start?
Edit: He does have a matching XP, could I take the comp. out of that one to see if its the problem? The mech said you couldn't do that?
