P pgway New Member Jun 26, 2011 #1 97 XP has been running great all season. Today it just stops as if the kill switch has been pulled. I have cleaned the post and tried my second key with the same problem. Any ideas? Would love to be back on the water today.

scarth 2000 xp New Member Jun 26, 2011 #2 Well hopefully you checked to make sure you have gas lol. thats probly what the dumb manuals would say. how are the pistons, they new or older? do you still have the gray fuel lines on them?

Dr Honda Well-Known Member Jun 26, 2011 #3 If it will restart... then the post itself has probably gone bad. Inside is a small magnetic switch, and they just give up sometimes.
