well i bought a 97 xp 3 weeks ago for the minimum fee of 1000 gbp.
took it to the local ski shop to have the hours read, only 15 hours. happy happy happy
 
Grey fuel lines....

Great deal,.....but, with so few hours on it, I bet it's still got the grey fuel lines on it. IF so....sad, sad, sad...........you need to change them all out before your carbs get stopped up.
 
tbh snipe i think the fuel line issue is a climate thing.
over here in the cold uk everybody has the gray fuel lines on.
i spoke to them at the shop & they said the same as i thought.
infact they said they have never seen broken down or degraded lines EVER!
but also said in the states they seem to be a major problem.:confused:
