My Speedster will not shut off, when I remove the "key". Both engines start just fine with the "Key" inserted, but I have to pull the choke and apply full throttle to shut down each engine individually.

Cheapest thing to check is all the connections to the stator/magneto area, and the waterproof box. I would closely check any and all ground connections. Start/stop with the switches are a function of the mpem but it does two different things - push when motors off it energizes the starter solenoids, push when motors running the mpem shorts the coils to stop the motors. Sure hope it's not your mpem.

Sorry to take so long to reply to this thread. I have been working on the electrical since then. I replaced a couple of fuses in the dash compartment. That solved the problem.
