I've reinstalled the engines in my project 97 speedster and bolted the carb onto the starboard engine. There are two throttle cables. One that moves with the throttle lever and one that doesn't. I'm guessing that one is a choke cable? Where does the moving cable go - through the top bracket to the top butterfly lever or through the bottom bracket? I'm stumped and thinking of turning to whiskey. Thanks!

first pound the whiskey, then from there...WHO CARES...:reddevil:

Top mount is for the "choke" cable, bottom for throttle, dont forget the stranded line, that goes on for oil injection.

Thanks!

Got it installed... third cable just hanging as I took the gear out of the rotary cover for the oil pump... poor man's block off kit!

hey...whatever works... Make sure it gant get snagged on anything, or your throttle wont return to idle....:willy_nilly:

edit...scratch that last statement
