Ok guy's I have exausted all that I have learned here on the post, now I'm looking for the Guru to have the answers to my problems. Last year late was running at about 68K till it broke a pickup coil. Bad weather made unable to get to lake, so I started to go through the manual and hopefully fix the neglected maintenance. New pickup coil, new ignition coil and wires, checked the plug caps for restance, OK. New rectifier, checked the timing looking for a bent crank, OK. Cleaned the rave valves, one was missing the spring in bottom of boat put both springs in and raised the red cap's to flush with top.
replaced gray lines rebuilt carbs. HELP:bigear:

97 GTX low RPM's

only getting 4600 rpms at full throttle added a attachment to post of what I have done. on the water it would hit a wave and the rpm would go up to like 6K if you let off the throttle and hit it again max rpm 46K till you hit a hard wave, the pop off's are listed and are not a clean pop all the time will add attachment to this post the high speed jets do nothing to increase WOT RPM at all passages are clean and open. H jet 1.5 turns out from seat.:bigear:

settings wrong

lsa = 1

hsa = mag 0, pto 1/2

Clean the raves, re-install original springs, not the ones from the kit, and should be good.

Boy that sure is off from the shop manual! is the reason on the mag from the pump being there? raves are clean. The springs you are talking about are they the rave springs, or the carb springs? the carb kit came from sea doo with the same shiny silver springs 65 grams? Thanks will do today.

Ok the RPM's are back to 68K ran about 1 mile then started flashing 12 V low. It took out the fuse in the rear coil/sol box this WR just doesn't like the water. will look at the rectifer and Mag.

Set the Carb's to your recomend settings hsa mag=0 pto=1/2 ran great till it took out the fuse in the rear box. flashing 12V low. will I ever get this to be dependable boat? sure looks good and seams to be well made not sure of the dependabilty of the 787 yet.
Thanks for all your help you were right on!!!!!!!!!
