Last weekend i sucked up some sand and overheated. I was wondering why i never heard the buzzer letting me know it was running hot. Pulled the head and replaced the O-Rings, flushed all the lines and buttoned it all back up. Tested the buzzer by grounding the wire at the sensor. The warning light comes on but no buzzer. When i clip the DESS key on i get beeps.
Is there 2 different buzzers?
If the light is the only warning i will need to add a buzzer as there is no way to see that light in the bright sun.
Anyone else have this issue?
I wonder why they didn't run the sensor through the MPEM to shut off the engine when it gets hot.
