I just got a 1997 GTS 717 and it has carb issues.... I own a 94 GTX with a nice dual carb setup and the carbs are Mint !! Is it possible to change the manifold carbs and necc components from a 657 GTX (non X motor) and upgrade the 97 GTS to a dual carb setup ???

Yes... you can take those off, and bolt them right onto your 720 engine. BUT... you will have to rejet them for a 720.

One other thing... you will want to swap the oil pumps. (keep the 720 pump, on the 720 engine) The pumps for the 2 different engines pump different amounts of oil.

so the Rotary valve cover is the same ???? I can just swap the rotary cover manifold carb assembly and the cables choke and throttle of course. What size jets do I need ??? Can I expect an increase in performance ??
