Hey guys this is a great forum!

So iv had my 97 gsx for about 2 months now and i love it! I was on the lake this weekend and i noticed that the VTS button wasnt responding when i would push it. After docking it for some water i jumped back on and put in the key and it also wasnt beeping! EVERYTHING was working fine last week so i cant understand it... COuld this be a fuse? an trouble shooting tips?

Also the ski runs great, has about 116 hours on it and i just noticed the battery meter and fuel meter are not working either... :ack:

Thanks in advance

Daniel

I thought my beep went away as well, but I figured out that it's just a dainty beep. Listen real close for the beep. I've also got a 97 GSX and none of stuff you mentioned works either.

ok so after doing a search on another seadoo forum i changed a few fuses in my fusebox and also did the "push the start button 5 times" method and the beep is back now! but still no battery/gass indicator and no VTS... ugh

PLEASE guys any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance

Daniel

the fuel problem is probobly your fuel baffel located in you r gas tank they go bad often and your trim could be a few things first you need to make sure it is not wrking just becouse the gauge says its not moving doesnt mean its not and if it is your gauge itself is bad or wireing inbetween the to are bad if its not working i would check your 7.5amp fuse in the electrical box if it is blown replace it if it blows as soon as you put it in it is your trim module and if it blows when ever you get to all the way up or all the way dowm it is your magnet on the worm gear that is the shaft that is connected to the pump nozzel if the module or worm gear are bad they need to be replaced also check to see if you have metal bands on your boot that seals that shaft on the outside above the pump and if you do you need to update them to plastic and replace that boot the metal clamps cut the boot and let water into the trim module.
