Hey Folks, to those who started, maintain, and provide help and advice on this website...I salute you!!! Some of us could not afford to enjoy a Seadoo if we couldn't fix them ourselves. Anyway, New coil, wires, caps and plugs and still weak spark, starts and runs once in a while but only for a couple seconds, backfires out exhaust occasionally. Thanx for any help offered. Scott

Check the rotary valve timing, have you been thru the fuel system already replacing grey lines and flushing out steel gas can trash?

Just started going through the fuel system, filter had some crap but not a lot, seemed to fire only when I squirted fresh fuel down the carb throats but then nothing and plugs were soaked. Decided to drain fuel tank, purge lines and start fresh. Not sure what you mean by ( gray lines ). Also, I wondered about the rotary plate when it backfired, is it common for it to go out of time? Thanx for your advice.

Yeah, replaced coil due to corrosion of stud inside where spark plug wire attaches. Spark got better but now I have a problem with back firing out of exhaust. Wondering if I spun the key on flywheel.
