I'm having problems with my boat bogging down. I rode for 10 to 15 minutes boat ran just fine. As I made a turn the boat bogged down to 5000rpms. The only way I could get it up to 7500rpms again was to run it for about 200 yard until it plained out then it would take off again. Any thoughts on what I need to do?

I have the same trouble on my 97 challenger but only on my left engine I don't know what it is if u find out let me know...

When you turn... there is more of a load on the engine. When was the last time you cleaned the RAVE valves?

I just bought the boat and had the motor rebuilt and had them cleaned then. The motor has not ran right sence I had it rebuilt. I've got maybe one hour of running in the water and only about 30 minutes on plain running. I might have another hour running out of the water on the hose.

I cleaned the rave valves still have the same problem does anyone know what is the problem? Also the left engine only gets to 7000rpms and my right gets up to 7500rpms at top speed and I have good compression on my left engine....

Ok so I have got another 97 challenger that is running just fine I took my new SBT motor that I'm having the problem with it bogging down and put it the new boat with the same carbs that are working fine with the old motor and the boat is still bogging down. With the new boat the motor would not go over 4500rpms anyone have any ideas?
