Sent motor to full bore, engine has never been opened up before. Internal oil leak and I just got tired of it. A couple of question while I clean and replace stuff while motor is out. Are the mikuni diaphrams that much better then after market?I`ve heard it but it ran ok with after market, some times on hot days it seem to crank alittle before it started[may have been a tired engine.] Also I have a near new after market carbon seal, are the seadoo oem better? Any reply will help while I replace all fluid lines. Thanks

Stick with Mikuni parts. Some OEM parts fit better but some aftermarket are ok too....your choice some times.

Thanks Seadoobuddy, just kicking up some conversation. Oem is hard to beat but aftermarket is kinder on the wallet.

I have used aftermarket mikuni carb kits in my Polaris's and Yamaha's with no issues. All the rubbers looked and felt the same as the OEM ones. Not sure of the life of them since they only been in for a few seasons.

I too have used aftermarket rebuild kits for my Carbs. No problems and its been running for 2 seasons now. Ive had some problems with the Port side motor but it was because the accelerator pumps weren't functioning properly. I pulled my carbs off the other day to clean them for this season and they still look good.
I just sent all 4 cylinders out to get the top end kit with rebore offered by Full Bore. I've heard many good reviews on them. Cant wait to get it all back together.
