Yes, unplug BOTH the VTS Module and the VTS motor. I have seen defective VTS modules harm the MPEM.

Okay just to be clear, leaving it completely out is okay? There is currently a manual vts on it but will go back to original once I source a new Module. Thanks!

It’ll be just fine as long as it has the rubber seal on it to keep the water from leaking into the engine bay...

Did you buy the 300$ vts module ? Or you fixed it like me and everyone else with auto lock relay for 20$

I haven't done anything yet but disconnect . Auto lock relay? Guess I'll search
