96 xp twists when power applied

got a 96 xp, runs great but when you apply any kind of power the ski twist to the left. It twist more the faster you go. you have to basiclly put all your weight on the right side of the ski at full trhottle. I havnt looked at the pump or impeller yet. Any ideas of things to check when im down there???

Motor Mounts?

That's a tough one. Check to see if the motor mounts are worn or loose. You might need to replace the motor mounts and re-align the engine. For now just check to see if any bolts are loose and tighten them.

Anyone else have any ideas?

all motor mounts in good shape and all bolts tight. Havent checked motor alignment but the motor has never been out so do you think it would be off??

Steering

Since all bolts and motor mounts are O.K. the motor alignment should be O.K.

Check steering nozzle and reverse gate for loose bolts, worn sleves, does the assembly turn smoothly?

Also check the sponsons, is everything tight, no missing pieces?
