Update: After replacing every part of my ignition, I've finally found the problem. Buckshot carburators use a small set screw to secure the throttle linkage to the butterfly valves. The setscrew on the mag carb vibrated loose, causing the butterfly valve to be partially open all the time, and unresponsive to throttle inputs.
