I have a 96 XP that just had a top end put in last year and carbs rebuilt and new fuel lines..So with that the first trip to the lake was few weekends ago..when you take off it wants to bog down and hesitate a little..since then ive ran three tanks through it and same problem..at one time is running on only res line..so i pulled the tank out and cleaned it and the filters and pick up tube...they had some trash..but i dont know why it is bogging down when you first take off? Any suggestions? Thanks

Does it clear up if you hold the throttle where it bogs? Or is it just on the take off it bogs then takes right off?

it does it on the take off and then clears up at around 30 mph..but it doesnt wanna go past 40-45..but if you let out of the throttle when you reach 30-45 and try to take off again it bogs down first before it will clear up

What are n/s springs? I didnt rebuild the carbs or the top end...a mechanic that works on alot of jet skis did the rebuild..it may have something wrong in it but i was guessing he prolly knew what he was doing in the rebuild..but maybe im wrong.. im going to tear it down tonight and check the carbs..

underthe diaphram, inside the carbs, you'll see the needle/seat assy. There, you'll see the spring, report back as to what color it is.

Oh yea needle seat...gosh im an idiot..havent been on sea doo forum that long got to get used to the abbrev..i have been on car ones before..lol..ok yea i really familiar with 2 cycle carbuertors..so hopefully maybe a diag is pinched or needle not seating properly..

another question..how do you clean the fuel switch out...? it has new lines but the other day it wouldnt run on the "on" pos and only "res".

carb cleaner and compressed air...if not, replace it, only 20 buks.

I think we may have figured it out..the carbs werent synced..one butterfly was not shutting completley and opening fully either and the throttle was way out of adjust not allowing it to go wot...im going to test it tom and see how it does..thanks for all the help guys
