96 spx will only open up after hitting a big wave

hello got a 96 spx man said it would not run right only when a big wave built carbs still ran bad built again had sandy varnish but two inline filters on after rebuild could not get adj to run right got it running half way thought i would try and ride it out ran ok then hit wave ran good untill let off throttle then back to half speed tride res tube thinking may have hole in reg tube in tank ran worse on res then would only run about 10 mph 4000 rs need help????????

Your post is almost impossible to read. The thoughts are random... and there is no punctuation.

From what I can get from it... your RAVE valves need survived, and there is still junk in the fuel system.

I'm sure glad you said that, because I was afraid it was just me. I got halfway thru the post and had blood coming out my ears trying to understand it
