96 SPX mpem???

Hi there, first post, avid reader.

Problem all have heard before........I think. My mpem that is blowing the 5 amp fuse is part # 278-000-822. Is this the proper unit for this year Seadoo? I don't seem to be able to find this part number anywhere. I am in the process of slowly digging out the potting soil and wonder if anyone has a picture of a similar unit that I could see to find that elusive little diode.

The MR2325l diode is parallel 5/8" center to center from fuse closest to multi wires
end, and inline with the first black wire next to the yellow with red stripe. 1/8" away
to 3/4" away (5/8" long).

Thanks for the reply Bill. This has been a frustrating issue since last fall (wife's ride) if you know what i mean. With your supplied info, I will complete the digging and likely buy both pieces from you to provide a spare. Will be in touch.
