Engine was rebuilt. Never waer tested. I bought it in the fall on a hand shake and trust. I still have the trust. The machine runs good, right except for this one. Start up is rough and play catch up, mid throttle from start to min is for burning extra fuel gas. It smoke a but more and inde the loading up.ia wealth with you can cruiser along and it runs gets. Can someone please help me. Tia

I would always do a carb and fuel system rebuild. Carbs use only Genuine Mikuni parts.

I would do a compression test just to confirm your trust (Compression testers are available at most auto parts stores for just a refundable deposit so free after all said and done). Then make sure the grey fuel lines were replaced, they have an issue were they create a green goo when exposed to ethanol. A few weeks ago I had to rebuild the carbs on my 96 SPX due to the green goo.
