96 spx bogs down

Hey I have a 96 spx and when I first put it in the water it started good ran good and then it started to bog down it stays on but when I try to get on it it goes then dies down but doesn't turn off as if the carbs use up whatever is in them but don't refill fast enough now a reggular engine that's what I would look for blockage in fuel filter or fuel line so before I tear off the carbs is there any other thing that might be cuasing it should I check other easier things first. Oh yah how do I respond to someone after they respond to me on this forum I can't figure that out thanks

If it has the grey Tempo fuel lines, the entire fuel circulatory system needs updated.

Thanks I will change my fuel lines and get it back in the water and is there a fuel filter I should change just out of curiosity why do the type of fuel lines cause that problem

not just replace the lines, but you need to pull the carbs and go thru them...where abouts in so-cal are you
