The shop rebuilding both my motors has been sitting on the job because he can't find a left throttle cable (277000328).
Can anyone help me out? This guy had the boat the boat for 2 months and hasn't given me any update.

What's the big deal? They are available.

****EDIT******

Hummm..... Guess it's discontinued. Oh well.... just use a cable from an SK (the 16' boat) or an 1800. (The 18' boats) Those will be more than long enough. Just make sure it's a pre 99. After that, they could have a Merc engine.

Thanks Dr Honda. I knew someone would have an answer. So the cable ends on the boats you mentioned are the same? I wonder why the shop that has my boat doesn't know that?
Thanks again, I'll inform him tomorrow.

Here you go. Call Paul Byers (269)-441-7324 at Hi-Lex. They are the one who made the cables for Seadoo. He just made one for a member on here back in March of this year for a 99 Speedster for $100. Just order the correct one from him. SBT was making the left side cables and using them for the right side, not sure why they went the other way on your boat. They sell the 237, not the 238. So it would probably be short.

Hi,
SBT has the cable you need in stock - 27-4127L - $66.85! (727.443.0373)

LOL, just got this in and should be on the site now. I followed the thread of SBT has the right but not the left so I thought I would jump in!

Thanks Erika. Yeah I looked there the other day and didn't see it.
BTW the guy miraculously remembered that there was and old speedster at a buddies place that he worked on 2 years ago with brand new throttle cables in it. The owner never paid for the job. This came to light after I sent my daughter over there to see what's going on as she lives 5 minutes away and I'm 40 mins away. She showed him these posts and asked him if he knew about "seadoo forum". I laughed.
So now ETA of the boat being ready is the 31st. We'll see...

Thanks again everybody!!
