I have 96 speedster that I think I have block in cooling system on one engine. I was in low water and shortly after my boat alarm went off. I took boat out of water and ran hose through to make sure i didn't have debris. Just took out this afternoon and after about 5min the alarm wnet off again and one exhaust manifold was much hotter than the other. How do I check for possible blockage??

Put er in water and check for water shooting out the back, I believe the holes they come out of are referred to as "pissers" for obvious reasons. The holes are above the swim deck by the loop for tying on ski rope etc..

I'm certainly not a wizard at this stuff, but I have a '97 speedster that I assume is set up much like yours. When I play with my engines with boat out of water I hook up a garden hose to the flush fittings located right and left when you lift engine hatch cover. Turn water on ONLY after engine start and then check the stern. I get lots of coolant water out of both exhaust port and the drain hole. I suppose if you don't and one exhaust gets really hot , its time to start undoing hose clamps and looking for a plug up. Did I mention that I think my Speedster was made by the Devil?
