96 Seadoo XP wont start

Just put in a fresh battery and the lights come on the dash, however it does not crank over. I checked the fuses up front and they are all good. I can jump the solenoid and it cranks over just fine, so the cables going to the starter have to be good. The black wire running from the rear box to the battery is good. Any ideas on what to check next? Would the rectifier be bad possibly?

Most likely its the solenoid that needs replacing.

Lou, you were correct! Swapped the solenoid off my other XP and it fired up.
