So I am now to my electrical problem. I have replaced nearly everything now and when I try to start the ski now with a new battery and all types of other new stuff, right when I oush the start button with everything connected, the 15 amp fuse in the front of the ski and the one in the back near the battery also fries after trying to start. Let me know what you guys think this could be. Thanks again!

Do you have the little black ground wire that comes out of rear ebox connected to battery it's about 4" long?

15 amp fuse blowing usually leads to a bad stator and the battery die could be down to the stator pulling a continuous current and not charging.

So I just replaced the stator and hooked everything back up. Now the seadoo is trying to turn over but it's like there is no spark. Does not want to turn all the way over. It is also blowing the 7.5 fuse in the back by the battery every time now. Any suggestions?

Does the ski have VTS? If so, unplug BOTH the module and the motor. Pull the plugs. Will it crank then?

Like coastie said, pull the VTS, that is the 7.5 amp fuse. Verify the little ground strap that goes on the ground side of the battery has continuity into the rear ebox. on the bottom of the coils that are about 5 or 6 grounds that go there. If you don't have a ground there you get no spark but can crank over all day long

Unplugged the VTS...

Thanks for the replies! I have now unplugged the VTS, verified the black ground wire has solid connection with the other grounds. I am still getting the same deal. It wants to crank but won't turn over. The fuse keeps blowing so I am at a stand still once again.

Let me know if anyone has a next move.

Once again, thanks for all the help

Any help would be lovely!?
I'm free today and wanted to give the ski some tlc but don't know where to start...

The BEST way is to buy a Spark Tester. It is the safest,,
The way MOST test for spark is, either use a spark plug and ground the electrode to the block or use a screwdriver and slide it into the spark plug wire and put the metal shaft about a1/16 on an inch away from the block. When you crank it, the speak would jump from the screwdriver to the block.

MAKE sure there are no fuel fumes or gas as it can be an explosive event...

^^^^^^Yep and the other important thing to remember, don't touch the spark plug or the metal shaft of the screwdriver. It's not a fun jolt to take.

It is fun for others to watch though.

Thanks guys!!

So I went in and put a small shot of gas into the cylinders and put plugs back in to give it a try and still nothing. I then went on to pull each plug, one at a time and tested to see if there was spark by holding it close to the block and even touching the block and I still got nothing. Is it possible something else is messed up since there seems to be no spark?? I have a video below so hopefully it works. Thanks again!!

Compression Test

What was your compression again? That seem to be spinning really fast, but can't really tell.

I tested compression and both cylinders are right at 110. It seems to be electrical issue maybe. Any pointers on what to look into now?

I did the spark test and there is nothing. No spark. I have new plugs in and all. I am going to replace the coils to try that out. Any other suggestions?

Now what!?

Any ideas on what I can do now? I have a parts ski with the cdi brain box thing and also a starter ignition coil box I was going to replace to give a try. Would this be a good idea or bad??

Please help!

If you have a donor ski go for it. You have checked everything but the coil and cdi at this point it sounds like.
