96 seadoo xp (787) ACTING WEIRD

Went to fire up the jet ski for the first time this year. Turned over a couple times like normal…then all of a sudden it was turning over by it self and even when I pulled the lanyard off it still was turning over. It did this until no juice was left in the battery.

I hook up the battery charger and it instantly wants too try turning over (while key is not even attached).

I disconnected the ground cable too the starter and it still continued too do it.

Any ideas on what is going on/ what the problem is?

starter relay is stuck

Thanks everyone for the help. Replaced the starter solenoid and it’s turning over again.
