Hi i have a 96 seadoo gtx 787.i fired it up last night and i noticed that it was leaking water from pressure regulator.the one that screws on top of the water box.so i removed it and hooked the two little hoses together.will this be a problem??i also plugged the the water box.

you'll need to replace the regulator or find out ifthe fitting on the tank is leaking. Possible fix could be some teflon tape around the fitting, BUT you can not join the 2-lines together, you exhaust system will flood causing you to have no rpms at WOT.

the leak comes out of the regulator i wonder if thats cuz i run it from the garden hose and it might have a lot of pression.im going to take it to the lake and see if still leaks.it might not have the same amount of pression as the garden hose.

I live in paso robles ca, i mostly go to san antonio lake or nacimiento lake.I also like going to Shaver lake over by fresno.but thats the only problem i have with my jetski im going to take to the lake today the way it is and see wat happens.

up date

well i ran it yerterday everything went great my jetski ran 50 mph for like 2 hours without a problem.im happy about that.but is still leaking water from the regulator.but is not too much so im going to run it like that.it shouldn't be a big deal.it runs fast it doest seem to affect it.
