I can't find a video of the wrong key or the other beep. It is a much longer beep
Than the double beep. Slap a video up real quick and show us

I took a video but I can't upload it for some reason. My beep is longer than yours, maybe about the time it takes for both your beeps to finish. I'll keep trying to get the video on here.

So... the bottom line is this is not a difficult fix.... reprogram the key and problem solved.

Reprogram the MPEM not the key. The key can't be programmed. Minnetonka4me can do it for you.

That is what I meant.... I'm not sure I want to deal with disconnecting all the wire connections... they seem to be shrink wrapped and are not coming apart easy. I think my mechanic friend has the Ski doo program to do it, not sure. Either way I may just take it to a dealer as opposed to taking apart all those connections.

if your friend has a programmer, great. The connections are kind of daunting, but not that bad. They are just covered connectors, not shrink wrap. So they can be unplugged. Some I need to hold one side with needle nose and pull. And just take a few minutes to label them. The dealer may or may not want to work on your older ski.
