This past Saturday a friend was riding my 1996 GTX and flipped it over several times and filled the engine up with water. We were able to get all the water out and it was turning on just fine after it appeared that we had all of the water out but then when we went to put it on the water the high temperature light and sounds stay on until it's turned off...anyone know where to go from here? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Check the temp sensor for being shorted out. It works like a switch. When it gets hot it connects to ground and allows the buzzer to go off.
