Ski starts and idles fine. When you it the throttle it takes off great for about 10 seconds and then bogs down. Let it idle for a short while it it will take off again for about 10 seconds. If you ease the throttle in slowly it will run about 20 mph. Carbs were just rebuilt and has maybe 10 hours on it since. Does anyone out there have any ideas.

do you still have the gray Tempo fuel lines? If you do... change them and clean the carbs again.

BUT... if you don't have the tempo hoses... you could have an air leak somewhere. Regadless... your ski is running out of fuel, and you could burn up the engine if you continue to run that way.

Not sure if your ski has the same setup as mine but check the voltage to the battery when its running 5500 rpm. If its over 15 Volts at all then the rectifier is junk and messing with your ignition system. Disconnect the red wire coming from the rec and see if it fixes your problem.

Ive been on this forum for over a week with a similar problem and I cant believe none of these so called "experts" even suggested to check this. It is a really common problem. They just said to keep checking the fuel system even after I told them I went through everything to begin with.

This might not be your problem but its some good advice from this amature "expert".

Sorry I had to vent alittle there for a second.

Good luck.
