I just purchased this ski last week, it has been setting for a year or so, I replaced the battery and started it on the trailer, and seem to run ok, but noticed that the low fuel light stayed on and its full of gas? took it to the lake and it run fine for and hour or so and then started bogging when I hit the throttle turn the gas valve to res and it started running fine and did so for a another 3o min or so and then started bogging again and so put it on the trailer, think it may be a fuel delivery problem and dont know about the low fuel light, could it be the baffle in the tank clogged up or should I look into the carbs, it starts and idles fine just want go. Thanks Alex

I have a 1997 GSX. From what I've read on here tonight it sounds like nearly all mid-90's Seadoo PWCs (including mine) have defective grey fuel lines that over time the inner liner breaks down into a sludge and causes all kinds of fuel delivery problems. Not saying this is your problem, but replacing the fuel lines is most certainly next on my list to avoid problems later. Maybe someone else who maybe knows a little more about it will chime in. Just something to think about!

For the low fuel indicator with a full tank:
1. Remove fuel baffle (sensor from the tank)
2. Check to see if the float actually still floats (not full of gas and sinks)
3. Check if magnets are still installed on float
4. Check if circuit board has blown fuse - surface mount fuse should be bridged with solder. Not critical to retain fuse

And plan on rebuilding carbs or at minimum cleaning out the internal filters for your low revs in the water problem.
