96 gsx airbox, 5mm hole?

Im new to PWC and this is my first used 96 seadoo, last night while flushing it I noticed a small drilled hole in the black airbox, is this how they all are or has mine been modded by previous owner? It's a hole ~5mm diameter, drilled.

If it's in the middle of the top... yes, it's suppose to be there. That's the place to spry in your fogging oil.

Normally there is a little rubber plug... but most people loose it. If it's not there... don't worry. (I don't have them in mine)
 
Thank you for your reply. Do you think it would be wise to fog the intake after flooding the engine? I've already had it running since the hydrolock.
