Has been doing this since I got it a few years ago, my friends xp does this as well... At idle and low rpms I hear a knock, Id swear it was something vibrating against the hull. The boat is in great shape, good motor mounts, I just rebuilt the top end last year. Any ideas? It only does it in the water, Ive pulled the seat off while riding it and can't tell where it's coming from.

It's coming from the pump. At low speeds the impeller is "Knocking" back and forth. Once the RPM's come up... the pump loads, and the sound should go away.

I always wondered why my one ski "knocked" alot louder than the other, then it clicked when Lou mentioned in a post a couple weeks ago that he increases his idle just a bit to decrease the noise and I realized my quieter ski does idle a little faster than the other.

I have my own theory though - the muffler/water box looks an awful lot like the cannisters they used in Ghostbusters to store demons in. I think it is a government conspiracy to get rid of those demon cannisters inside our Seadoos. I just know I ain't ever taking the cap off the waterbox ! :)
