Hey folks,
I have a 1996 and a 1997 SEADOO GSX. My 1996 has water temperature as one of the displayed pieces of information within the INFO CENTER along with PK and AVG MPH and RPM and CHRONO and all of that. I recently purchased a 1997 GSX...basically the same boat. It has all of the same info in the computer but it does NOT have water temperature. I spoke with the owner of a big dealer this weekend at the lake and they told me that they believed that for 1997 that same option SHOULD be in there, and that maybe it was disabled in the computer. Does anyone know anything about this? Would I have to have it hooked up to a computer at the dealer to check this out? Why would that option have been omitted?
