As the title says...where is the pulse line? I've got a factory service manual and it just doesn't make any sense.

Thanks.

The pulse line is connected from the PTO crankcase nipple below the PTO carb (crankshaft area) and runs up from under the carbs to the fuel pump on the MAG carburetor, it's probably gray colored TEMPO fuel line unless someone changed it.

The fuel pump pulse nipple is circled in red in this photo, follow that hose to the PTO crankcase:

the one slanted to the left in the photo is pulse line to the carbs. the one hanging down and a little to the right goes to the RAVEs

Cool...thanks, guys.

And I thought rebuilding a twin-turbo RX-7 engine was an exercise in patience! I realize the engine was built in Austria (per the little tag I see on it), but they MUST have imported small Asian children from somewhere and forced them to assemble these things!

Does anyone have a schematic of what each of the nipples has attached to it?

They are just pressed into the crankcase. The pulse from the piston stroke is what operates the carbs and raves.
