95 xp

My neighbor has had a jet ski covered up in his yard for several years. It has never moved. Well I now know that it is a 95 XP because it is identical to mine!!! It was running when he last used it and then he winterized it and hasn't had time to use it since he has small kids. Would it be worth trying to buy it from him real cheap and try to get it going? I haven't seen the actual shape of the body but I did peek into a whole in the cover and it looks nicer than the one I have. Love mine and wouldn't mind having a second one! :cheers:

How much would you offer him?

Ask him if he is even interested, then I would try to get him to let you put a battery in it and check compression.

Or...offer him $300 for a non running ski and hope it just needs the normal stuff.

I paid $650 for a 95 & 96 XP (non running) with trailer! I think $300 is a good price.

Ok!!! Great. I just paid $800 for my current one so I haven't put to much money into it so I want a project one now!!!!
