'95 SPX Dark oil in bilge

I have a 95 SPX that has a LOT of dark oil in bilge. There is no leak from the reservoir to the oil pump as I have checked the lines and that would be clear anyways. Is this a rotary valve cover o-ring issue? Thanks for the feedback-
