95 spi sits very low

I just bought a 95 spi and when i took it out into the water it sat very low in the rear. I dont know if this is normal for the model other skis that i have riden sat much higher. I was probably only about an inch to inch and half out of water in rear. Im wanting to take my girlfriend out on it but i dont know if its safe?

i think that's pretty normal, i have a 96 spi and it sits really low too, there were 2 of us on it, and without the motor running, we soon tipped over, i think they are pretty unstable. If not, then I guess urs and mine are defective

I agree, the X4 hull is a one person ski with room for two, however a guy and a girl O.K., two guys never.

My 240 Lb butt will dam near sink the rear of my XP when sitting still.

Yep my SPI was tippy, especially with two people on it.

Me and my wife ride my spi all the time together, then again we only weigh about 300lbs total. Getting on away from the dock is a bit tricky, but after you take off your golden.

Same here. My old school SP and SPi are a one person ride. Maybe a kid on the back here and there. The one time my wife and I got on it at the same time, would have won us $10k on America's funniest home videos...

Well im gonna give it atry this weekend i weigh 175 and shes only about 115. I just dont want her to get all upset by tipping a bunch it will be her first time on a ski

prepare for her to be upset sir......that ski was designed for one person...i have a 96 xp its the same size as yours and i weigh about 180 and she is about 125-130 and if we actually get on the thing at the dock without tipping we are happy....then if we fall of...WOW ....i actually have to get on and when she is about half way on it i have to start in and go so we can stay upright so she has to get on with a jet nozzle spraying her in the......HAVE FUN THOUGH
