Well, after a lot of troubleshooting and other nonsense, at this point I think it may be best just to find fully built carb kits and drop them in place on both of my skis..

There has been much hassle with rebuilding, then checking for leaks and so on and so forth. Not sure exactly where it's coming from. I've followed most of the recommendations stated and still having fuel delivery issues.

Anyways, does anyone know where I may be able to get either a refurb/tested and fully built ALL OEM carburetor pair for both of my skis? I need both PTO and MAG (270 500 252 and 270 500 250 respectively). Looking to snatch the old ones off and drop in place of the old (checking all lines and mount gaskets, of course).

Yeah, I've got a ton of quality parts from Minnetonka. Not sure if he would give me a fully built/tested carb assembly pair. Guess I could check with him. Thanks!

After having opening my carb two times by the dealer and having jobber parts installed into it, I have decided to get a brand new OEM one from OSD parts because I cannot trust my old carb anymore. OSD prices are so affordable that it is really worth it to get a new one rather than rebuilding (I think cleaning is a loss of time). Hopefully this will fix my issue.

Benji.

I'm not finding the same part number on OSD. Pretty sure I have A SBN-38i. All I see on OSD is SBN-40i.

You don't have the I series of carbs going to 40mm won't hurt you. I put 40s on my hx with the factory pipe. Recommended by Matt Braley pm him he can make recommendations for your 717

All my dual 717 set ups I converted to single.
PM Minnetonka4me for parts needed

He fixed me up with a used carb for $90. I cleaned it and it fixed my Ski 13's problem for the rest of the season! Now I have winter to fix an extra carb for next season.
