95 GTX Cooling Hose replacement

Hello,

In replacing cooling/bilge hoses on second 95 GTX ski I am rebuilding (some deteriorating - some look to have been melted in spots). Almost all the hoses are the same 6mm clear type which i have on hand.

I noted the 6mm cooling hose from tuning pipe to exhaust cone is black and a different feel (looks/feels more like plastic) .
I found the part number 276 000 048 but wanted to know if there was a similar substitute I can pick up at auto/marine store?

I am surmising I cant use the same 6mm clear hose as in other areas do to higher heat content?

Since there is cooling water going though it... you can use the clear tube... but if for some reason you get low water flow... it will melt. I recommend a rubber hose of some kind in most of the connections, since it can take more heat.
