Hi everyone, trying to get my 94 xp started after sitting during the off season. I found that the cylinders had filled full of oil so after removing the carbs and getting the oil out through the intake the ski still won't start. After replacing the charging system the ski ran great at the end of last season. When I take the plugs out it will turn over all day long but with the plugs in the motor acts like its in a bind, turning over for a second then makes a clunk sound. I have replaced the battery, starter, plugs, cables, fuel tank is full ect... Anyone have any insight on this problem? Thanks in advance.

Hold the throttle wide open and put a heavy rag over the plug holes...its gonna shoot oil out. Keep going, then shoot some starting fluid in and see if you can get it to pop off and blow the rest of the oil out of the motor.

Thanks Minn. Thats exactly what the propblem was. Still a ton of oil in there! Once it started I thought the neighbors were gonna call the fire department! Haha
