94 xp fuel gauge and vps inop

i just bought a 1994 xp and the fuel gauge, and vps do not work. Is there a fuse box i could check for these or any other ideas on where to start my search?

I have a 93 xp with the same problem. Just got to working on it the other day and found the VTS works when I jump it straight to the battery and switch leads to change direction. Also noticed there is a steady draw of around 4 volts on the plug coming from the box, the was a nice day so i stopped wrench'n and went riding. Going to work on it again after the 4th.

im kinda in same boat with my 94 xp but my gauges work and the vts dont. when i hot wire it the motor goes up and down fine. when its hooked up normally my vts module in the gray electronic box clicks when its spo 2 work but nothing happens. Also remember vts dont work unless you turn the motor over then it will work for a few seconds. you have to start it up to get it to continusiouly work. fuel gauge is the same.
