Greetings all, new to the site but have been veiwing for awhile. I have a few issues with the 2 94 GTX's that I have.

1st. On one machine it revs great out of the water with the hose hooked up but when in the water it boggs down and dies when you give it throttle (sometimes). All the grey fuel lines have been replaced, the carbs have been rebuilt, MJ 125, Pilot 60, pop off pressure 24psi. Fuel tank has been pulled and cleaned and I run non ethanol fuel. Both low and high speed screws are at 1 1/2 turns out to start with and the fuel system has been pressure tested. Back when I got them a few years ago the motor was pressure tested and passed.

Sometimes when you give it throttle it takes right off but other times it boggs and want to die. If you pump the throttle some times it works through the bogg and then takes off. Works great when its acutually up on plane. It seems as if it takes a few minutes for the fuel system to pressurize correctly. Can this be? I guess that is the question.

2nd. One of the speedometers has never worked but the other one did. Now the one that did work stopped but comes on every now and then. What could be causing this and how can I fix them? Thanks for any and all help.

the speedometer, probsbly something stuck in paddle wheel

The carbs on other, is set wrong. lsa at 1-1/4, hsa at 3/8. Pop-off might be a little low/high, can bend the "tang" down/up attad, to raise/lower ur (psi)., if new settings, have a hesitant/bag off idle
